I hold a Master’s degree in Learning Technology and Instructional Design from Utah State University, a Master’s degree in Administration (Information Resource Management) from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Campbell University.

I spent 20 years in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces (Green Beret) Medic.  I served in positions from A-Team Senior Medic to Group Operations Sergeant in my career.   After retirement from the Army I worked as a DOD Civilian in Special Operations Medical Training for another six years before moving back home and taking my current position as an Education Project Manager for the Veterans Health Administration.

In my spare time I like to create.  I am a very visual and tactile person and enjoy the creative process.
